The mission of the Hair Restoration Institute of Minnesota is to improve lives and restore confidence through great hair.

About Us

The Hair Restoration Institute of Minnesota (HRI) was founded in 1982 when Board-Certified Facial Plastic Surgeons and Aveda trained cosmetologists – the leaders in both surgical and cosmetic hair restoration in Minnesota – teamed up to create the first comprehensive hair restoration clinic in America. Dedicated to the ideal of treating every patient regardless of the type and size of hair loss, HRI quickly became the premier clinic for hair restoration in Minnesota and the greater mid-west.

In 2022, HRI moved to its new state-of-the-art facility in Bloomington Minnesota, adjacent to the MSP Airport and Mall of America. Overlooking the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge, and on-site hotel accommodations, HRI is now a leading destination for hair restoration.
