We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Terms and Conditions of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms All individuals who seek consultation, services, or products from the Hair Restoration Institute of Minnesota ("HRI") are required to agree to these Terms and Conditions prior to receiving services. By scheduling or attending a consultation or procedure, the client agrees to these terms.

2. Privacy Policy HRI respects your privacy and complies with all applicable data protection laws. Information collected through our website (www.hrimn.com) or otherwise voluntarily provided by you is used solely for the purposes of providing and improving services. For full details, refer to our Website Privacy Policy.

3. Informed Consent and Assumption of Risk Client acknowledges that they have received, read, and understood all pre- and post-procedure instructions and materials and have had the opportunity to ask questions. Client understands that all medical and cosmetic procedures carry inherent risks and that outcomes vary. HRI does not guarantee specific results beyond the stated terms of its Clinical Guarantee.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy There are no refunds of any kind on deposits, advance payments, or collected fees for the following:

  • Dermal Lens purchases
  • Wig / Follea purchases
  • HRI Hair Therapy products
  • Laser treatments
  • Hair Transplant Surgery
  • Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments
  • Scalp Micro Pigmentation (SMP)
  • Haircuts, colors, and other services

5. Chargebacks Chargebacks placed through your credit card provider will incur an administration fee of $40. Additional fees may apply for pre-arbitration processes. These fees will be deducted from the client’s account balance if available.

6. Hair Transplant Terms.

A. No-Refund Policy. There are no refunds on room hold deposits or advanced payments.

B. Appointments canceled within 14 days of the procedure will forfeit the room hold. Cancellations more than 14 days in advance are eligible for a refund of the balance above the room hold. Rescheduling or canceling a surgery or procedure will result in a $200 fee per occurrence.

C. Clinical Guarantee - For medical hair transplants, HRI offers a clinical guarantee. If no hair growth is detected after 12 months following surgery and the patient:

  • Followed all pre- and post-op instructions,
  • Attended their 12-month checkup,
  • Is not actively losing non-transplanted hair (as proven by use of Compound FM, finasteride, or DHT-Blocking Vitamins approved by HRI),
  • Has not received treatment from another clinic,
  • Is medically cleared by HRI’s Medical Director,

Then HRI will provide replacement grafts at no charge (excluding medication fees). Additional grafts may be purchased. No guarantee of satisfaction or specific cosmetic results is offered.

D. Graft Equivalency - A "standard graft" is defined as 0.80mm in diameter. Larger grafts are proportionally adjusted in count to reflect their size. For example, a 0.90mm graft is counted as 1.27 standard grafts.

7. Debt Collection Client agrees to pay all charges incurred for services rendered. If payment is not received within 30 days of the invoice date, HRI may charge a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% annually) on unpaid balances. If the account remains unpaid, HRI reserves the right to send the account to collections. The client shall be liable for any collection agency fees, court costs, and reasonable attorney’s fees incurred in the process of collecting the outstanding debt.

8. SMS Messaging Terms By opting into text messages from HRI, clients consent to receive recurring automated texts from HRI. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Clients may opt out at any time by replying “STOP.”

9. Image & Testimonial Release Unless otherwise requested in writing, clients grant HRI permission to use anonymized photos or testimonials for educational and promotional purposes.

10. Digital Communications Consent Clients consent to receiving emails, calls, and electronic messages from HRI related to appointments, services, and marketing. These communications may be stored for quality assurance purposes.

11. Non-Disparagement Clause Clients agree not to make false, misleading, or defamatory statements about HRI or its staff in any public forum. Disputes must be directed to HRI for resolution through the dispute process outlined herein.

12. Service Expiration Policy All prepaid services must be redeemed within 18 months of purchase unless otherwise stated. Unused services after this period will be considered forfeited.

13. Force Majeure HRI shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemic, labor disputes, government orders, or internet failures.

14. Dispute Resolution and Attorney’s Fees HRI reserves the right—but not the obligation—to resolve any dispute through binding arbitration in Hennepin County, Minnesota, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. If HRI is required to take legal action or arbitration to enforce this agreement or collect payment, the client shall be responsible for all reasonable attorney’s fees and related costs incurred by HRI.

15. Governing Law and Severability These terms shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the State of Minnesota. If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

16. Acknowledgment of Understanding By proceeding with any consultation, procedure, or purchase with HRI, the client certifies that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions in full.

SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions

When you opt-in to the service, we will send you a message to confirm your signup.

By opting into messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Cindy from HRI. Automated messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system to the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up or any other number that you designate.

Message frequency varies, and additional mobile messages may be sent periodically based on your interaction with Cindy from HRI. Cindy from HRI reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time to increase or decrease the total number of sent messages. Cindy from HRI also reserves the right to change the short code or phone number or alphanumeric sender where messages are sent

Your usual message and data rates may apply. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your mobile provider. Your mobile provider is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.

Cancellation

Messages will provide instructions to unsubscribe either by texting STOP or through an included link. After you unsubscribe, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed and no more messages will be sent. If you would like to receive messages from Cindy from HRI again, just sign up as you did the first time and Cindy from HRI will start sending messages to you again.

Transfer of Number

The duty to inform us based on the above events is a condition of using this service to receive messages.

Messaging Terms Changes

We reserve the right to change or terminate our messaging program at any time. We also reserve the right to update these Messaging Terms at any time. Such changes will be effective immediately upon posting. If you do not agree to a change to these Messaging Terms, you should cancel your enrolment with our messaging program. Your continued enrollment following such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
