Shina Chase, NP

Nurse Practitioner

Shina Chase is a Nurse Practitioner who has been in the medical field since the early 2000’s.  She began with her nursing assistant certification, but soon after obtained her bachelor’s degree to become a registered nurse.  Her experience as a nurse encompassed various populations and specialties including cardiac, ophthalmology, and postpartum.In 2019, while working on a step down cardiac unit, she decided to further her career by pursuing her MSN. She completed her graduate program at Florida International University, where she specialized in Adult Gerontology Primary Care. Shina is board certified by the AANP and is licensed to practice in Florida and Minnesota. She is also experienced in nursing education and enjoys teaching and precepting nursing students.Shina’s motivation for working in the medical field is the ability to advocate for her patients. She strives to provide the best care for her patients while making them feel confident and comfortable with themselves, and with the care they are receiving.
